Stinger Does kill mosquitos...!, if...-
I HAD a "BAD" problem with mosquitos (West-Nile fever...!)! I web searched for a bug killer... that would work!
Top choices, for me-
1. Propane powered models/traps...- High-maintenance, bulky, heavy, expensive (about $300+... for "top-rated" models!), 5 gallon propane tank lasts only about 30 days ($OUCH!), fire danger..., then you end up with a messy net full of mosquitos (still alive?)!
Too much of a HASSLE...! NOT for me!

2. Electric bug zappers- I read SERVERAL web reviews saying that these types of low-maintenance "electric" bug zappers would not attract mosquitos (My old Flowtron did not!)?
a. I reviewed the Stinger UV40. THIS WORKS!!! (I recommend getting at least the 40w (1 acre)! Only $7 more than the puny looking 15w. The 80w "looked" AWESOME?!-
It comes with a mosquito bait lure- "Octenol (a USDA tested mosquito lure) cartridge included".
They recommend replacing it every 30 days (I replace mine "when" it stops drawing mosquitos. $5 @ Wal-M).
The Stinger unit has a place DIRECTLY UNDER the light, to place the Octenol lure- The fumes rise up and draw the mosquitos in to the electric zapper grid. Was this just "sales hype"?
#1$Wal-M & Lowes have liberal return policies. I decided to "give it a try"?
Every morning there WERE "hundreds" of dead mosquitos on the patio, under the Stinger!!!
Some environmentalists claim bug zappers "may" also kill helpful insects?-
All I've ever found, are LOTS of dead mosquitos & moths!

Some helpful tips-
1. Do not mount near doors... (draws "swarms" of insects!). Hang it 7ft high (head room).

2. As a test to see when it stopped zapping (temperature)?- I left mine on all night, and checked it frequently (I'm a night person), to see when it stopped zapping? We "usually" have cool evenings- it stopped zapping at about 1am. Does nothing "before" dark!
I put mine on a timer (I will adjust settings, as temperatures... change)!!!

3. For easy cleaning (only once in awhile)- Instructions say- you can blow it off with the exhaust side, of a vacuum cleaner?
I blow mine out with an inexpensive air compressor (if you don't have one, you should! Lots of uses!).
I would "not" recommend turning a water hose on it (electronic parts/shock hazard...!)!

4. They recommend that after a year- Even though UV bulb still glows, it loses its effectiveness, and stops drawing many insects. I will "then" "easily" replace the UV bulb ($12 @ Wal-M).
ENJOY!

A serious bug killer.
I put a couple of these zappers between my house and some treed wetlands. They kill so many Mosquitoes and other insects that I have to clean the Stingers out every week or two. Fortunately, an electric yard blower cleans them out pretty easily. I don't even have to unplug them. One precaution: don't use this near a picnic bench or your pets water or feed bowl. Exploding insects can't be very healthy to consume for man or beast. I would have rated this item five stars except that the replacement bulbs cost about $20 each and need to be replaced in pairs every 4 to 6 months.

Minor adjustments
Awesome bug zapper, but, a small adjustment made it that way. I opened the cage and cut off 1 row of the metal grid to make it a bit tighter to kill smaller insects like gnats and flying ants. I do have to clean it more often but at least the bugs are dead. I either turn it off and spray it with the water hose or the air compressor, whatever is closer. It's been working for well over a year now out in the Florida weather.

Does Not Work
Purchased 2 of these zappers. Noticed that while I had flies, that there were no dead flies in the zappers themselves or for that matter around or under them. Then I noticed on both that when the room was dark, flies would actually enter the zapper walk all around inside and then fly away. Both with the same result. No malfunction on these devices, they simply don't work, there is no way Viatek could not know this. Do Not waste any time or money on this product.

Bug Zapper is worthless!
Bought two of these to zap the little gnats that fly in the kitchen. What I got was two neon lights that do nothing for the bug problem. note the high shipping fees....beware!

Never worked for me
I ordered two. One never even lighted up when I plugged it in, the other lighted up but not one bug was zapped. Very dissapointed.

  • Security pole to hang unit, with 14-inch extension
  • Has locking feature to prevent theft
  • 10 feet long, 1-inch diameter steel tubing

Product Reviews

As described with a minor flaw
This pole is as described. The one flaw is that it has a theft proof feature that requires loosening a nut to release the bug light. I'm concerned that over time, it will rust, making removal of the light difficult. This part should be stainless steel. Other than that, it does the job. I ran the wire up through the pipe for a neater appearance. This required cutting the plug off and reinstalling. This was a minor inconvenience for a more finished look.

GOOD POLE...
Sturdy, not flimsy....easy to put together. Would liked to have seen the inside dimension a little bigger because we put an outdoor rated extension cord inside the pole before we mount it in concrete. It's not big enough to get the plug through so the extension cord had to be spliced with that part of it placed inside for protection from rain, etc. It can be done...just takes a little more work and someone that knows how to splice an electrical wire.

great Pole
very easy to install. you can adjust the height by leaving a piece out. No tool is necessary.

I would definitely recommand this to any one who has flowtron. you are suppose to setup the flowtron away from your deck, patio, and house. this will do the job.

Product Reviews

Advanced design mosquito trap.
I purchased the Mosquito Magnet Defender (MMD) model about five weeks ago for my parents home on a wooded, heavily vegetated lot in Ohio.

Having recently seen a TV interview with a West Nile Virus victim that was nearly killed I felt a strong need to eliminate this risk to my parents, who are at greater risk because of their advancing age.

My father likes to sit outside on the patio for hours reading the paper and smoking. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes make it difficult to sit there sometimes. Even so, he is the type of person to brush off the risk and refuse to wear repellent. A prime candidate for West Nile should there be virus present.

I had a Defender shipped to their address and was anxious to set it up and start sucking in huge quantities of mosquitoes. I was hoping for spectacular results because I knew they would find out how much the unit cost and question my decision to purchase it.

We assembled the unit pretty easily but we did have to purchase a new propane tank before starting. The MMD appears to be a solidly built unit designed for constant exposure to weather.

Determining the correct location for the trap is important and the method is detailed on their website. You must also place the trap within reach of an electrical outlet. The cord is quite long but you will need an exterior outlet or a way to run the cord into your house.

Upon startup there is a brief warm up period where the status light on the power switch blinks red. When fully operational it turns to a solid red and stays that way until the unit runs out of propane. You can hear a quiet hum from the fan(s). The unit blows a downward plume of warm carbon dioxide and simultaneously vacuums up the air near the source of the plume. The warm CO2 and an Octenal cartridge (included) attract the biting insects. The insects hover around the mouth of the machine and make a number of passes at it until they get caught in a mild vacuum and sucked into a metal-screened net assembly. The air stream is strong enough to prevent them from flying out and they struggle to stand up in the net until they dry up and die. The open net is visible from the exterior of the machine through a clear plastic access door. You can check the contents of the trap without touching the machine. The net assembly is easy to empty and is sturdy enough to rinse clean and reuse many times. You're supposed to leave the MMD run 24/7 to maximize its impact on the mosquito population.

In the first couple of hours of operation my unit caught a few mosquitoes and a bunch of no-see-ums. The next couple of weeks were about the same. I wanted to see hundreds of mosquitoes but got a couple of dozen. The propane tank ran out after about three weeks and I had a few dozen mosquitoes, a bunch of no-see-ums and a tiny spider that crawled in to eat on the dead bugs. Not exactly a justification for purchase. But there simply were not many mosquitoes present in the yard at that point in their reproductive cycle.

It turned out to be a mistake to measure the machine by the number of mosquitoes in the net. As the previously laid eggs hatched the MMD then captured many of the newly hatched young. Now I am in week five (end of July) and the unit has captured about 50-100 mosquitoes in just the last 3-4 days. They appear to be newly hatched young. I am excited to think of all the offspring these insects WON'T be having and I am reassured that the MMD actually works in the presence of mosquitoes.

And this is the key to owning one of these machines. They are most effective over a period of time. Unlike a vacuum cleaner which does it job in just one pass, the Mosquito Magnet takes in the insects a few at a time and prevents them from reproducing hundreds more for the future. Mosquitoes do not migrate so once you've knocked down your local population it is difficult for them to recover. Having spent a lot of money, the temptation is for wanting a spectacular, instant return on your investment - but that is unlikely. The MMD does catch mosquitoes and probably does so better than other products. But the results are not instantaneous.

The real test will be after two or three seasons. If the MMD can create a mosquito free zone for multiple seasons it will probably have paid for itself. Of course, the more you dislike mosquitoes, the more valuable it will be.

The downside is the cost of the unit. Is there a cheaper way to do the job? Chemicals are probably cheaper, but those have a downside too. The MMD works constantly and with no effort on your part for three weeks at a time. It is easier, cleaner and safer than chemicals.

Unlike Citronella and DEET, which temporarily repels the mosquitoes only for them to return to bite another day and unlike poison which wipes out the entire spectrum of insects, the MMD selectively kills only biting insects. It permanently eliminates them in an environmentally conscious manner. Other insects are simply not attracted to the machine. The ease and cleanliness of the operation are appealing.

I would recommend the Mosquito Magnet Defender because it is promising over the long run. Its design and principle of operation are logical. It does seem to capture a large proportion of the mosquitoes that it comes into contact with and so far it appears to be a good investment.

But only time will be the final judge of its cost effectiveness.

Mosquito Hater
I purchased the Mosquito Magnet on 7/3/2003 from a local retailer (this was the last one they had) along with the propane tank and additional traps and attractants. I did not realize that the unit came with a set of traps and attractants to get started.

My husband and I own a house in Connecticut on a 1/2 acre with lots of trees; brush; gardens etc (moquito and gnat heaven). When we want to use our backyard in the evening we would have to start lighting about 6 or 7 of the Off table top and hanging lanterns about 1/2 hour before and make sure we went inside just as they started to go out (about 4 hours later) or risk getting eaten alive.

During May, I could not plant flowers in our gardens without spraying myself from head to toe with bug spray and having 2 tabletop "OFF" lanterns near me to keep the vicious little critters away. They were like little flying piranhas.

I had been seeing these units advertised and thought that they were just another expensive gimmick (the unit for the 1/2 acre was $300 plus another $30 for a propane tank and $50 for additional attractants and catcher nets). I compared it to the cost of the (OFF) 3 pack of candles and repellant pads at $4 to $5 per pack and we were using 2 packs each night and averaged to 6 nights a week during the months of July and August and 3 to 4 nights in May; June and September. In addition to doing basic yardwork and chores, we have a pool and 2 children.

My husband and I hooked up the unit which required very little assembly (slide the post and "U" shaped foot into the stand; put the top of the unit ontop of the post; hook up the propane tank; slide the attractant in the holder underneath and put the net catcher inside). No tools were required.

The only confusing part, is the note in the instruction manual which states that (due to Federal Regulations) the CO-2 cartridges are not shipped with the product. In reading the directions, it sounds as though this cartridge is required to start up and operate the unit.

I spent quite a bit of time looking for these cartridges (similiar to those used in paint pellat guns only with a screw type top) only to find out that these are not required to start the unit but are only required after the 1st propane tank is empty and every 2nd tank refill after that. Apparently this cartridge allows you to clear out dust etc. from the inside of the unit to keep it working properly

I called their technical service phone # and spoke with a customer service representative (on Friday morning July 4th!!) who informed me that the directions were poorly written and the company was working to fix that. The CO-2 cartridges were only needed after the 1st propane tank refill etc. and these can be found in a bike store as they use them to fill bike tires. The representative I spoke with, specifically stated that the screw top is required to make a tight seal and a 12 to 16 gram cartridgeis required.

We started the unit and at first all we heard was a slight whirring/humming from the fan and saw the blinking light on the "ON" switch. I was not even sure it was working but about an hour later we went back to check and sure enough there were bugs which had been caught.

The directions state that the unit will start catching immediately but in order to see a marked improvement it needs to run 24/7 as soon as the temperature starts to be consistently 50 degrees for 4 to 6 weeks so the breeding cycle is broken.

If you read other reviews which state that the unit did not work, I am willing to bet that they did not read this part and this is why they are upset that the unit did not immediately clear their backyard. These units are not a vacuums and take time to do what they do.

Obviously purchasing this product as "late" in the season as we did, there was very little expectation (after reading the 4 to 6 weeks blurb) that we would see any improvement but I was wrong. We were able to sit outside without bug spray or OFF Lanterns within a few days.

I would like to mention that you need to make sure that the propane tank is turned all the way on or the unit will shut down. When my husband originally turned the gas on, he only did it 1/4 to 1/2 turn and I don't think the unit was getting enough fuel. We found this out the hard way, I would come home and when I checked the unit the red light was blinking on the power switch (it goes to a solid red when the unit is working). After resetting the propane tank and regulator with the special tool provided I slowly turned the gas on and have not had a problem since.

At this time I feel that this was a worthwhile investment. We don't even know that the unit is there - no noise; smell (the OFF lanterns worked fine except for the fact tht they only worked for 4 hours; they cost a lot and I was beginning to wonder if the smoke/smell emitted from the repellant pad was really something we should be inhaling) or mess etc.

I hope that you find this review helpful.

Only works for one season
I bought three of these Mosquito Magnet units. They worked well for a few months then no longer worked by the end of the season. Three units, without even one working, says to me that this is a defective design. I tried to clean them with the compressed CO2 cartridges this week, in preparation for a new season, and all I get is the "fault" light. Don't buy.
P.S. I have never written a review about any product but I feel cheated by this one.

Worked about 2 months
This thing worked great for about 2 months. Then the bulb started to fade. After 3 months the bulb completely burned out. I have been unable to find a replacement bulb. Good luck getting access to the bulb! The manufacturers website says, "No bulbs to replace, ever!" I'm guessing that means since there are bulbs available to replace you can't replace the bulb, hmmm....

Bug Zapper
Love this thing!! you charge during the day, then let it sit on all night, zaps away all the mosquitos and other creapy bugs. :-)

Good for indoors, but...
We live on a farm with lots of forests and a few swamps nearby. When I first moved here I could hardly stand being outside - day or night! I purchased the Mega-Catch Premier Mosquito Trap (MCP800) for outside and this took care of most of the problem. I still run it day and night though as I don't want our land to become infested again. (Been using it for 4 years running - still works like a charm!)

Our house, which isn't air tight, lights on at night, will attract a few mosquitos and make sleeping a pain in the butt. Even one or two mosquitos around your head at night is annoying. This unit takes care of that problem, we just leave it on in the kitchen in the evenings and summer nights are enjoyable once again - inside or out.

Buy 2
I have the smaller version of this device (2AA batt.). Works great. Buy 2 or you will have to be fighting with your spouse to use the one you buy.

Frys mosquitoes and causes them to explode. Great theraputic value.

Will give you a painfull zap too if you contact the metal mesh while it is switched on.

Keep out of the reach of children and stupid adults.

Solid product
The zapper works wonderfully in general. It's not the greatest thing to use on gnats though, as another reviewer noted. The wire mesh is too coarse to guarantee a bridge across the contacts for such a small bug. For anything bigger (mosquitos, flies, bees, etc...) it works like a charm. You do not need to be a tennis pro to be able to hit the bugs consistently. It only takes a basic level of physical coordination.

For particularly big bugs (such as the carpenter bees that infest my back yard) it only stuns them. So if you're swinging after some paleolithic trophy specimin, be prepared to grind it with your shoe after it falls stunned to the ground.

One warning though: Once you press the racquet's button and hold it for even a second or two, the internal capacitor is charged up to 1500 volts. At that point, even if you're not holding the button down, anything that bridges the contacts between the two mesh grids will get popped. This is great for bugs, but not so much for fingers. The zap won't do any lasting damage to you, but it hurts a bit and numbs up your finger for a minute or two. The lesson here is to always assume the zapper is charged, even if you're not actively holding down the button.

Works well
Pros: *You get to hear a loud satisfying "pop" with each kill.
*Don't have to switch out batteries as aften because of longer lasting Ds are used.
*Extra size of it allows for larger capaciters to give it higher voltage.

Cons: *Hitting flies in mid air is a bit hard due to the weight of the thing,
*and its not much use to ground insects because you can't swat it against the ground without breaking it.
*Red warning light only stays on when button is depressed, even though it should stay on because juice will still remain in the capaciters for a while which can cause nasty suprises.

Product Reviews

Amazon.com Review
Flowtron's lantern-style insect killer uses nontoxic ultraviolet light to eliminate mosquitoes, biting flies, and other insects over a 1-acre area. The insect killer is cleaner and safer than its chemical counterparts, and its patented nonclogging killing grid eliminates the grid clogging that can short-circuit the unit or cause flare-ups of insect remains. The insect killer features high-impact construction and a protective outer enclosure to prevent children, pets, birds, or wildlife from contacting the charged grid.

Does what it's supposed to do
There are two ways to measure the quality of an insect zapper. First, how powerful is it light? That will determine from how far away insects will be attracted. Second, how powerful are its "shocks"? That will, of course, determine what happens to the hapless critters. The Flowtron BK-40D performs both of these admirably.

This should be set up AWAY from your seating area - at least 10 yards. It will attract and kill so many insects that if it is near you, you will get covered. Also, the zapping noises it makes as it kills can be intimidating to young kids.

The plug comes off a short (6 inches or so) wire from the top as it hangs down from your pole. Make sure whatever extension cord you use is rated for outdoor use.

There is a compartment just below this model, which will fit a sticky mosquito attractant - one comes free with this package. You can get refills easily at Target or WalMart. Cost about $4. You probably will not need them, however, because the UV light does a good job of attracting insects.

I recommend it fully.

Very smart design, works great.
This is my second bug zapper. Took another brand back that didn't work. This zapper is working great, and that's all thanks to its intelligent design.

Some bug zappers have super small entry holes, and then wimpy little electrodes inside. This zapper is designed to let bugs fly in easily, and it has vertical electrodes that zap bugs. This zapper works really well...in fact the other night it was zapping like crazy because it was hot and the bugs were out. We live in an urban area near a plant nursery, so we'd always have bugs coming in the back door. Now this zapper kills them and attracts them away from our backdoor. Great product!

Good flying bug killer
We don't have a mosquito problem but my wife and I usually spend our time at our computers which are located close to our deck. At night, flying bugs would wiggle into the house and send my wife screaming and wailing. So I bought this bug zapper and the problem is solved. A good product if you need something to keep flying bugs out of the house during warm summer nights.

Before buying this product, think of a way to hang it some place. I put mine on a deck table but its a little wobbly and may fall over if there's a strong gust of wind.

I can't identify most of the bugs killed by the zapper, some are small green thinggy with wings and some of rather big long flying bug. It did killed a lady bug however, not sure if that's a good thing or not.

Flowtron's lantern-style insect killer uses nontoxic ultraviolet light to eliminate mosquitoes, biting flies, and other insects over a 1/2-acre area.

Cost-efficient, environmenally-sensitive bug elimination
There are several different versions of this product, each one for increasingly large areas. This one--the smallest--is good for up to half an acre of protection. It's the perfect size for a large patio or deck and a modest lawn. Some may not like the zapping sound interrupting their nighttime outdoor fun, but it is probably the most environmentally-sensitive way to rid your lawn and patio of bugs. The 15 watts of power needed to run this machine also make it one of the cheapest bug eliminators.

One of the great things about this model is unheralded in the list of features Amazon gives. With the addition of an (included) strip of UV-activated bait, it's positively lethal against mosquitos. We've found it to be much more effective than citronella torches.

About the only thing that mars this otherwise excellent device is the need to place it in front of the area you mean to protect. This would typically mean placing it away from a house, not next to it. Depending on your particular site, this can mean using extension cords, which come with their own set of safety issues. Happily, however, this is an extremely energy-efficient device, so it's definitely not going to break your electricity budget.

Durable, effective on mosquitos, USA made
I have used these for a few years. They are the same ones sold under the Sears label. Experiment with the height from the ground for different types of bugs. For mosquitos, place no more than six feet from the ground. Place in a shallow tray of water and watch the kill rate! Do not immerse any part of bulb or grid in water (rain won't harm it).

Bugs Beware
I was so tired of replacing my bug zappers and had a hard time finding one that would last more than one season without the bulb burning out. I reviewed several on line as all I could find in the stores were the Stingers, and I definitly didn't want another one of those. The Flowtron I ordered worked so well that my dad had to have one too. We bought an extra bulb just in case, but neither one of us has had to replace one yet. This zapper works so much better than any I have ever tried. I noticed right away a huge difference in my flying bug problem. I live next to a lake in Florida, so you can imagine the mosquito battle I had. Now I can sit outside in the evenings and enjoy the peaceful setting without continuously swatting bugs. I bought the 1 acre light and my dad only needed the 1/2 acre one. Both do a great job and would highly recommend a Flowtron Zapper to all in need.

Keep the bugs away from your next barbecue without resorting to unsafe insect sprays. Designed on the premise of a flyswatter, this handheld bug zapper is shaped like a tennis racket and kills insects on contact via an electric current when they touch the surface of the "net." The zapper operates on two AA batteries and, for safety, activates when you simultaneously press the two buttons on its handle. The bug zapper is safe for either indoor or outdoor use; however, people should exercise caution when the zapper is activated as it will cause a shock. --Cristina Vaamonde

WOW .... Darth Vader probably had one of these too .....
I bought this little goodie as a lark and was surprised to learn what kind of a zap and spark one could get from tiny little batteries .....

Certainly not the tool to have if you have any kids .... OR .. if you have any co-ordination problems and may hit yourself or anyone around you ... Touch the metal parts of the swatter and you will very quickly learn what religion is all about with stinging ZAP and a spark ....

Flying bugs are fried immediately ... so if you have any fear or allergy of wasps or bees ... well then this baby is for you ...

Oh yes ... for those of you with an imagination the Amazing Bug Zapper is as close to Darth's light sword as you can legallay get ... LOL

Mamalinda's Electrifying New Toy
Keeping the sport in bug zapping, this handy dandy handheld model takes it to competitive levels. The more passive models may be as effective, but are they as FUN? Can you feel SATISFIED? Can you COMPETE?

Please note that this is not a safe toy with a child around (and they are going to be soooo tempted, particularly if a younger sibling is close). Definitely a must have for the barbeque boy, porch princess, and all those Happy Campers. Hint: You probably will need more than one.

Bugs 'B' Gone!
This is the most **wonderful** bug killer ever invented, and it's the 2nd one I've bought. The 1st one wore out after a couple of years and I was in a panic without it.

Killing spiders is a breeze with this - just hold it over them on the wall or floor, or catch them on it as they fall. It kills them immediately, then just hold them on it as you walk to the trash to dump it. Wasps, bees, hornets, flies... same thing - just hold it over them as they buzz against a window or wall and the minute they hit it, they're dead.

No bug smush from crushing them, and no insecticide smells or residue. I love this thing, and I'm buying it for all my family & friends.

One bit of warning, tho - don't let irresponsible adults or children get their hands on it. It does carry quite a charge for having just a couple of AA batteries in it.

Allows us to enjoy the outdoors again!!
Here in Houston we have had a particularly difficult time with mosquitos this year (due to heavy rainfall). I almost felt like we were held "hostage" inside our house, since going outdoors meant a barrage of mosquitos! But thanks to the Flowtron bug killer which we now have on our back patio, we can enjoy the out-of-doors again! We purchased the 80-watt model, even though our yard is only 1/3 acre. It has been very effective in eliminating our mosquito problem. One word of caution: the zapping noise generated by the Flowtron really bothers our Golden Retriever. He has even tried to escape from the back yard! We're hoping he eventually becomes accustomed to it. Just keep this in mind if you have pets ............

Stinger vs Flowtron/Winner!
Stinger:
Pros- With mosquito lure, killed lotsa bad insects- BUT!
Cons- Their electric wire grid uses square wires that QUICKLY clog up. Pretty soon it was packed solid & killing nothing!
I had to keep blowing it out ( air compressor) every couple of
days- HASSLE!

Flowtron "80!" (took 40 back!)-
Pros- Killed lots more bugs, because it NEVER clogs up! The electric rods are straight up/down, so no cross wires to catch falling insects & clog. Dead insects fall out the bottom- Blow clean once a month.
I used the Stinger mosquito lure, purchased at Wally World...

Cons- The only con is that the outer protective plastic cage HAD bars only about 1/2" apart (same with Stinger)- This kept larger moths... from being able to easily get in to the electric grid.
I used a large wire cutter, to cut out every 3d bar, on top 2/3ds of cage. Alternating..., so cut bar was in the middle of two solid bars on adajacent side- Still rigid!

I put it on an outside timer (for when evenings cool down- Not much insect activity below 55 degrees...). Adjust accordingly.

Never hang it near a door, as their is always a 10'+ swarm of insects around it.

Try to hang it over head high, in a DRY (electric) area.

No Problems.
The last one I had was 40 watts and while it was pretty effective, this summer's Louisiana mosquitos seemed a little more reluctant to die by uV. However, this 80 watt light has been a bit hit, attracting the little blood suckers by a pound, and virtually clearing my 1.75 acres.
